Crescent-Moon Zafu Cushion
This crescent-moon shaped wedge cushion alleviates postural problems and enables an effortless seated position. The wedge shape tilts the pelvis and hips slightly forwards allowing the lumbar spine to remain in its natural curve. This keeps the spine upright and the shoulders relaxed. Drawing the heels in to the arc of the crescent moon shape encourages the shins and knees to drop towards the floor thus creating a stable and well aligned base for the perfect meditation position.
This cushion is ideal if you require wider, lower support for your hips and legs.
Our crescent-moon shaped cushion has a luxurious soft-touch velvet cover, which is removable to allow easy machine washing. The inner is made from 100% cotton, and is filled with 100% organic buckwheat hulls.
It is very easy to add or remove buckwheat to get the perfect cushion firmness for your individual needs. It also has a useful handle to make it easier to transport around.
Each cushion is designed, printed and handmade in the UK. To allow you to refill your cushion, additional buckwheat hulls are available from our website.
